In Yobe state, RHHF, with support from CDP, has employed a range of strategies to engage communities effectively. Peer sessions, mass motorized campaigns, and supportive visits: Mobile COVID-19 vaccines have been instrumental in sensitizing community members. This comprehensive approach has resulted in an impressive outcome: over 24,000 individuals have been sensitized by both community volunteers and staff members. During the reporting period of June 2023, the efforts yielded more than 17,000 successful COVID-19 vaccinations. It’s important to note that all vaccines used are endorsed by WHO and NAFDAC, ensuring they are not only free but also certified as effective.
