Royal Heritage Health Foundation Retreat 2022

In the business world, modern organizations conduct corporate retreats on a regular basis to consider their strategic direction, review progress, set up goals and objectives for the year and provide an occasion for interaction between the board members and employees of the organization.  Royal Heritage Health Foundation (RHHF) started their retreat in 2013/2014 at Kwara state library with the avenue to designed, organized and specifically facilitate the ability of a group to step back from their day-to-day demands and activities for an extended period of concentrated discussion, dialogue, and strategic thinking about the organization’s future or specific issues.

However, RHHF 4th annual retreat was held on 9th – 12th January 2022 at Mount Carmel Prayer Village, Ifewara, Osun State. A total of fifty-two (52) staff of RHHF and guests from the different locations were in attendance and different sessions were held to improve staff capacity and plan for the fiscal year 2022.

The day 1 session includes facilitation on Goals and objectives of the retreat, Etiquette as a measure of royalty in Royal heritage Health foundation, building together to create a desired future, Departmental presentations, Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA), Email Etiquette and Professional Engagement with partners, Quiz and Team Building activities and day 2 RHHF staffs were enlightened on Identifying and Addressing Mental Health Issues at Work, leveraging on online courses, Fellowships and scholarships for Career Development, Introduction to IT Infrastructure, Overview of Updated Organizational Policies and Safety and security infrastructure in RHHF. The sessions were facilitated by staff, board members and guest speakers. The facilitators include Mojoyin Akintola, Prof. Sunday Aderibigbe, Adewoye Sunday, Ogundele Raphael, Sogunro Olusoji, Ajayi Oluwasefumi Ogunleye, Akanbi Sabainah, Durowaiye Omoshola, Agbede Opeoluwa, Adewumi Funmilayo, Kingsley Iroka, Adewoye Adekunle, Sogunro Olamide and Tomi Tundun.

RHHF organized the dinner party and during the program, three (3) staff were promoted and the staffs are Ajayi Oluwasefunmi as Program manager, Olaniyi Jumoke as Program officer and Akintola Oyindamola as Senior Procurement Officer. Also, three (3) staff were awarded on merit (Ajayi Oluwasefunmi Titilope Lawal and Akintola Oyindamola) for outstanding performance towards the progress of the organization in 2021. In Addition, some staff were awarded based on votes and gifts were presented to the awardees.
