DONATION OF CHAIRS AND PERSONAL HYGIENE PRODUCTS

RHHF DONATED WHEEL CHAIRS AND PERSONAL HYGIENE PRODUCTS TO PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS IN KWARA STATE
In 2012, RHHF donated 3 Wheel chairs to pupils affected with physical disability (crippled) in order to promote Inclusive Education in Kaiama LGA. As a result of this kind gesture, Airtel Touching Lives supported us with additional 40 wheel chairs to encourage access and inclusion of pupils affected with similar disability being mapped out in various schools.
19 wheel Chairs were distributed to Kwara CSOs working on ESSPIN project to support pupils affected with Physical disability in their various LGAs while 21 wheel Chairs directly distributed by RHHF to the beneficiaries in Moro, Kaiama and Baruten LGAs.

IMPACTS OF WHEEL CHAIR ON LEARNING:
•    Increase in enrollment and attendance of special children in school through provision of wheelchairs.
•    It has created a sense of belonging and inclusiveness for the affected children
•    One of the beneficiaries has transited to secondary school in Bani community of Kaiama LGA of Kwara State, Nigeria.
•    Parents have seen the need to support inclusive by allowing the affected children to attend school.

Over N1.2 Million

Personal hygiene products supported by Unilever Nigeria Plc through The Survivor Foundation were distributed by RHHF to the vulnerable learners in 143 Public Primary schools of Moro LGA.
