2015 SCHOOL BASED MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE REPORT

Based on the findings of School Based Management Committee (SBMC) research conducted in 2009, ESSPIN (Education Sector Support Programme in Nigeria) supported capacity development of Royal Heritage Health Foundation along side other Civil Society Organizations and  Social Mobilization Officers of SUBEB (State Universal Basic Education) to reach school communities, train and subsequently provide mentoring and monitoring support to SBMCs on their roles and responsibilities. School Based Management Committee (SBMC) is an essential link between schools and the communities they serve. It sees to improve the quality and effectiveness of Schools through communities participation.

Royal Heritage Health Foundation worked in 82 public primary schools in Kaiama Local Government, 143 public primary schools in Moro Local Government and 84 public primary schools in Baruten Local Government of Kwara State…
